In response
to President Bush's declaration of Sept. 14th as a national day of prayer
and remembrance, Kansas State University will cancel classes which meet
at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Friday to provide an opportunity for faculty,
staff and students to attend an interfaith prayer service to be held
in McCain Auditorium beginning at noon.
All other
classes will be held at the discretion of instructors.
All Faiths
Chapel will remain open during the day as a place for private prayer
and meditation. Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate
in either of these university-sponsored activities, but should also
feel free to attend worship services of their own choosing.
